A historic moment of community empowerment and conservation leadership
Saving Africa's Nature (SANA) was deeply honored to welcome Dr. Jane Goodall to Gongo Village, where she officially handed over keys to new homes built for less privileged families.
These beautiful houses were constructed using local materials, with the dedicated effort of Gongo community members, international volunteers, and the generous support of our partners Wheeling2Help, Beyond Borders, and many other friends of SANA.

The project represents a perfect example of how international collaboration, local expertise, and community participation can create lasting positive change.
This initiative stands as a shining example of how conservation and community well-being go hand in hand, building a future where people and wildlife thrive together.
Dr. Jane's presence and words reinforced our belief that environmental protection and human development are not separate goals, but interconnected parts of the same mission.
